TB Prevention, CHD & HIV Awareness
OHOWA implemented community awareness campaigns focused on Tuberculosis (TB) prevention, CHD & HIV/AIDS awareness to reduce stigma, increase public understanding, and encourage early diagnosis and treatment. The organization conducted educational sessions in schools, communities, and public gathering areas targeting youth, women, caregivers, and vulnerable populations.
During these campaigns, communities received information about the causes, symptoms, prevention methods, and treatment options for TB and HIV/AIDS. Awareness materials, public discussions, and health education activities were used to promote healthy behaviors and encourage individuals to seek medical support without fear or discrimination.
OHOWA worked closely with health professionals and community leaders to spread accurate information and combat misinformation surrounding infectious diseases. The interventions contributed to improving community knowledge, encouraging early health-seeking behavior, and supporting public health efforts aimed at reducing the spread of communicable diseases.
