Food Security and Livelihood

OHOWA implemented food security interventions aimed at reducing hunger and improving the nutritional status of vulnerable communities affected by poverty and humanitarian crises. The organization provided full food support packages to 140 vulnerable families, ensuring they had sufficient food to meet their basic needs for one month.

This assistance targeted the most at-risk households, including orphan caregivers, internally displaced families, widows, and low-income families struggling with severe food insecurity. The food distribution helped reduce hunger, improve household stability, and protect children from malnutrition during difficult periods.

Through this intervention, OHOWA strengthened community resilience and provided immediate relief while contributing to improved health and well-being among vulnerable populations.
